About

Nicole Jones

Hi, I’m Nicole Jones.

I’m a freelance writer and editor in Brooklyn. I help people make friendly products and websites.

Before this, I worked at Facebook, Apple, Lab Zero, and Mule. You can find my writing in Contents, Web Standards Sherpa, Offscreen, and a few other places.

In the evenings, I read a lot and make Born Hungry, an online magazine for home cooks. I keep a journal, take photos, and spend too much time on Twitter.

I believe:

  • Writing is a form of design.
  • Communication takes courage.
  • Content is fluid.

I want to:

  • Bring rhythm and kindness to the web.
  • Create responsible, accessible products.
  • Teach people who make things to write from the heart.
  • Make it easier to read online.
  • Connect ideas I find along the way.
