Drafting a Manifesto

This will be my last post here, but I’ll keep the site up. I’m consolidating my writing and my client work on my portfolio site. Things will look different there soon.

It seems fitting to wrap up this blog with a letter of intent for the work I still want to do. This isn’t the end of anything, but rather an extension of what I’ve been up to for years.

So here is a draft of my manifesto. I wrote draft again so you’d know that I’m nervous about it and still considering each part. When I’m a little more sure of the text and my values, I’ll put this up on my portfolio site. In the meantime, I’d love to hear what you think. And if you have any suggestions for anything at all, you’re always welcome to email me. Lots more to come! Onward.—NF

Manifesto — Draft

Gather contradictions.
Ask questions.
Make messes.
Try and see.
Be clear and be kind.
Trust the process.
Walk until you find the circle.
Talk to people, not at them.
The product isn’t the point.
Build it together.
There’s room for all of us.
